Saqib Saleem, Shweta Tripathi starrer 'Koi Dekh Lega' releases today

Last week, the first short film from Y-Films, Yash Raj Films' youth wing, titled '

The Road Trip

' starring Nimrat Kaur and Tahir Raj Bhasin opened to good reviews. On the back of it, releases the second in the 'Love Shots' anthology titled '

Koi Dekh Lega

' featuring Saqib Saleem and Shweta Tripathi. Directed by Ankur Tewari, the film is based on a real-life incident and tells the story of a young couple trying to find some privacy at a bus stop in a crowded city. It has original music composed and performed by the Anand Bhaskar Collective.

Adds Saqib, 'It was great to work with Y-films again. When I heard the story I was quite touched and it was something new' so I challenged myself to see if I could pull it off. Hope people like it.'

Tahir Raj Bhasin: Short films are exciting

The music for 'Love Shots' is exclusively available on Wynk music for a period of three days before its release. Anand Bhaskar, who has composed and sung the love ballad titled 'Faasle' for short films, says, 'Love Shots' is not just a web series, it's also a means to marry independent music with mainstream content. Needless to say, we at Anand Bhaskar Collective had a blast working with Ankur Tewari and the kind folk at Y-films and it was an amazing experience shooting the music video for our song. We are excited about the series and are proud that our song is associated with 'Love Shots' and can't wait for the music to release!'

'Love Shots' is an anthology of six short films that explores love in every form, shape and stage in life. It features an absolute never before coming together of some of the most exciting actors playing delightful characters including Nimrat Kaur, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Salim Merchant, Tillotama Shome, Saqib Saleem, Shweta Tripathi, Farida Jalal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rhea Chakraborty, Saba Azad & Mohit Marwah, Swanand Kirkire, Shubham Tukaram, Shravani Desai among others. And the soundtrack features 6 original songs by some of the freshest upcoming musicians of today showcasing a range of genres. The six music videos will be attached to each individual short film and have been directed by Shraddha Pasi Jairath.
