debut with the superhit film, ‘Dangal’ (2016). While she was appreciated for her acting chops in the 2018 comedy-drama, 'Pataakha', directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the actress once again scored a hit at the box office with ‘Badhaai Ho’.

Her latest release, ‘Photograph’, which features her opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has also won her a lot of appreciation as an actor. Now, according to a daily, Sanya has bagged another film. If the daily is to be believed, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ director Shashanka Ghosh has offered the actress his next.

The daily quoted a source as saying that post the success of ‘Veere Di Wedding’, Shashanka was busy scripting his next, which is said to be a romantic film. Seems, he is keen to cast Sanya in the project and has already approached her. According to the publication, the actress has also liked the script and has agreed to be a part of the movie.

Earlier, while talking to Bombay Times about her career plans, she had said, “I have stopped making career plans now; they never seem to work out for me. So, I’m going with the flow, enjoying each day of being an actor. I don’t want to restrict myself and want to work in all genres of cinema. Perhaps I can do a romance or even a horror film soon.”

Well, it looks like her wish has been granted.
