Sanjay Leela Bhansali may rope in designer Anju Modi for his new films

When we met designer Anju Modi at an event in the city, we asked her how success felt (it was Anju’s colourful, and ethnic designs that added vibrancy to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela), and the lady quietly smiled.
We prodded her for more info. Has she not got more B-wood offers? That’s when she revealed that she might, if everything goes right, go to Pakistan to research for Bhansali’s movie, Heera Mandi. “We have been in talks, nothing is finalised yet. But we’re in talks for both Heera Mandi as well as Bajirao Mastani,” she said, “There’s one more film, but that’s not to be spoken about at the moment. But the thing with Bhansali is he is very meticulous and organised. A bit of an egoist, but he is open to suggestions and opinions, so I loved working with him, and would love to start researching before designing for these films,” Anju added.
