Sanjay Dutt inspires Irrfan's look in Jazbaa

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is happy with the way things are shaping up for his next, Jazbaa, the film that brings together Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Irrfan and Shabana Azmi.
Besides having roped in some powerhouse performers, one of the many things that is being widely discussed is Irrfan's look styled by Sanjay Gupta.

It is reminiscent of Sanjay Dutt's look in one of the films that the actor and the filmmaker worked together earlier. But Gupta says that it was his co-producer Sachiin Joshi who actually suggested this look for Irrfan.
Talking about Irrfan's look, Sachiin says, "When Sanjay (Gupta) was narrating the script of Jazbaa to me, I was listening intently. And I felt that the Irrfan's character was very close to how Sanjay Dutt's character was in Aatish. I called Gupta the next morning and suggested to him that we should attempt to style Irrfan's character on similar lines Sanjay Dutt in Aatish!"
Jazbaa, produced by Essel Vision Productions Ltd, White Feather Films and Viiking Entertainment, releases October 9.
