Sanjay Dutt in Mahesh Manjrekar's next

Director Mahesh Manjrekar and actor Sanjay Dutt share a special bond ' they have worked together in many Bollywood movies like 'Vaastav', 'Kurukshetra', 'Pitaah' and 'Rakht'.
Now, once again, they are coming together for an untitled film that will be a remake of the Marathi movie 'De Dhakka'. The senior star will be playing a loud Punjabi and the head of a dysfunctional family that bonds once it sets on a road trip.
This movie, that has traces of a lot of genres including situational comedy, that is also emotional. The director was quoted saying that he believes that Sanjay has very good comic timing and he does not need any silly buffoonery to look convincing as a comedian.
Mahesh feels that Sanjay can fit into anything that the director wants him to perform.
