Sanjay Dutt

We all have heard stories about Sanjay Dutt’s battle with drugs and alcoholism and even seen it on screen in the film, ‘Sanju’ which was based on his life. The actor had got addicted to drugs at a very young age and the peak of his career. While he had almost gone to the point of no return, he turned the tables for himself when he got admitted to a rehab centre and bounced back stronger and better. Ever since then, he has been on a roll on his professional front.

Manisha Koirala

Manisha Koirala, who inspired many with her victory over cancer, wrote in her book about her addiction to alcohol which not only ruined her body but also declined her career. The actress had shared that many people resort to alcohol for solutions, but that is surely not what it does. She also added that varied people have their own reason for turning alcoholics. In an interview with a news portal, Manisha had stated that in life, be it relationships or alcohol, we need to be the master of the situation and not the victim.

Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan, who had a decent career in Bollywood, made headlines when he was arrested in possession of a banned drug in India. The actor was later sent to a rehabilitation centre for recovery to get over the drug addiction in 2001. The actor has now gotten rid of his addiction and is all set to make his Bollywood comeback.

Yo Yo Honey Singh

Yo Yo Honey Singh gained immense love and popularity for his chartbuster songs like ‘Lungi Dance’, ‘Blue Hai Paani’, ‘Brown Rang’ and others. However, the singer-rapper soon fell for alcohol and drug addiction. The actor went missing from the scene for about a year or so before bouncing back. The singer reportedly recovered at a rehab centre and is doing quite well now.

Kapil Sharma is undoubtedly one of the popular and most loved comedians we have in the industry. The actor garnered a lot of love and adulation from his fans and others in a very short period of time. However, at the peak of his career, he got hooked on alcohol. His addiction reportedly started affecting his career too. Kapil then got admitted to a rehab centre to get rid of his alcohol addiction. The comedian is back and on a roll.
