“Abhishek’s team Jaipur won the Kabbadi league, and we all know that Abhishek put in personal effort and interest into the team,” says Sangram, “Then why can’t we also promote wrestling as a league?”
Sangram says he is keen on funding underprivileged kids who are interested in wrestling but are deprived of enough opportunities. “Wrestling is rooted in the Indian soil, yet there isn’t enough scope for kids who come from poorer families but have the talent, to join the sport professionally. Whenever I earn enough money from my films, and other work in the entertainment industry, I want to invest that for sponsoring such kids with their education, food, daily sustenance etc.”
