Sandali Sinha gets into the groove
none of the newcomers seem to have benefitted from the success of tum bin! that's not true. we've all got offers after the release of the film. in fact, priyanshu and himanshu have a contract with t-series and so their next will be with them. all four of us have been appreciated in the film. as for me, i've already won the award for promising newcomer from the delhi-based aadharsheela.
1x1 polls
editors from prominent newspapers formed the jury. i'll receive the award from the vice president. i'm happy with the outcome of the film, no matter what anyone else might say. what's happening on the career front? i've just signed ashok honda's home production om with a new hero, aatin. i've a very glamourous look in the film and a good role too. the film is slated for a march 2002 release. i'm being very choosy. after scoring with an author-backed role in my debut film, i don't want to mess things up by choosing the wrong films. one false move and i'll be history as far as the industry is concerned. i want to be known for good work. i've no film background or godfather backing me. i'm learning the ropes slowly. i'm slow but steady. you suddenly seem very ambitious. at one point, you weren't interested in acting. i was always interested in acting, that's why i started doing tv. films are just on a larger scale. initially i did receive several offers from big banners but i turned them down because i felt i wasn't ready for films then. yes, sometimes i do feel like kicking myself for having been so foolish. why were you wary of joining films? certainly not because of the stories i'd heard about the casting couch. do you think women are so foolish that they'd stick on here even after being exploited to the hilt? everything depends on how you conduct yourself. i'm capable of handling situations. the buzz is that anubhav sinha recommended you highly for tum bin because he was having an affair with you. you got it. it's just a rumour. anubhav sir had directed me in some music videos earlier and asked me to do the screen test for the film. he recommended me because i was very good in all my screen tests. even kishen kumar was impressed with the results. anubhav sir and i share a professional relationship. we're not even friends. the only thing we have in common is our surname. you're currently dating your tum bin co-star himanshu malik. right? i'm not here to have affairs. i'm not mentally prepared for a relationship. right now, my total concentration is on my work. look, all four of us who worked in tum bin bonded well because we were all newcomers. we were constantly giving each other moral support during the making of the film. himanshu and i got linked together because both of us were single while priyanshu and rakesh bapat were into serious their relationships. honestly, there's nothing happening between himanshu and me. what happens if your career as an actress doesn't take off? i'll stick around and make it happen. i'm sure things will work out for me. haven't you seen the 100-days posters of tum bin which have been put up?
