If all all goes as planned, we may soon see "Dabangg" actor Salman Khan as Hanuman in the modern day adaption of Ramayana being planned in Hollywood.
After signing for the role of a super-hero in Sohail Khan's "Sher Khan", Salman has been approached by Hollywood producer of Indian origin Uru Patel for the role.

Rumour mills are rife that the producer is keen to rope in the actor for the role of Hanuman, who can fly over skyscrapers to rescue Sita from Ravana. Interestingly, Aamir Khan was apparently offered the role earlier, but things did not materialise. And, now Uru wants to rope in another Khan for the same role. And, if sources are to be believed, Shilpa Shetty has been approached to play the role of Mata Sita. Reportedly, the film will be set in 2012-13 New York and Hollywood stars like Keeanu Reeves and Gary Oldman have been offered the roles of Ram and Ravana respectively. Well, if things go well Salman and Shilpa will yet again share the screen space after a long time. Iti
