At IFFI this year, the NFDC (National Film Development Corporation Limited) will continue with its section ‘Gala Premieres and Special Screenings,’ which was introduced last year. The festival officials say that this section will showcase some of the most anticipated Indian films and series of the year, adding that since the idea behind this segment is to connect actors with the audience, the film’s stars will interact with fans and introduce their films. Officials say that the Gala section doesn’t just include Hindi shows and films, but also celebrates diverse cinema from across the country.
