As India gears up to celebrate 75 years of independence tomorrow, Salman Khan joined PM Narendra Modi's Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and hoisted the tricolour at Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai. The campaign comes under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav encouraging Indians to bring the Tiranga home. Check out the visuals captured by out photographers:
Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Shilpa Shetty, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Jeetendra, Kangana Ranaut, Govinda, Dharmendra, Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol and many others have also participated in the campaign and installed the tricolour at their residences.
As a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the government, the culture ministry, various Union ministers among others have appealed to the citizens of India to hoist the tricolour at their homes from August 13-15. Through the website of the campaign, the ministry has also been suggesting proper ways to display a flag at their homes, and urging them to take a selfie with Tiranga. The idea is to hoist at least 20 crore flags by Independence Day on August 15.
