He was joined by co-stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, and Anjini Dhawan, along with producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director A.R. Murugadoss. As expected, Salman received the loudest cheers, but Rashmika also got plenty of love from the crowd. After delivering two back-to-back blockbusters, 'Pushpa 2 – The Rule' and 'Chhaava,' she was called the "lucky charm."
Salman-Rashmika’s cute momentA sweet moment came when Rashmika greeted everyone, saying, "Firstly hi guys, how are you? All good? Are you?" As fans cheered, Salman, always one for a bit of fun, asked her to show off her famous Korean heart pose. She happily obliged, but the real excitement came when Salman joined in! The audience went wild, cheering even louder. Rashmika, grinning from ear to ear, playfully said, “See, I got Salman Sir to do that!” They struck the pose again at the media’s request, and even Sathyaraj joined in for a laugh!
For the event, Rashmika looked stylish in a brown shirt dress, while Salman kept it classic with a blazer over a blue shirt and dark blue jeans.
Salman said Rashmika has given her bestWhen asked who had done the best work in the film, Salman praised the entire cast but gave special mention to Rashmika. He said, "All of them are fantastic. They have worked hard. Miss Mandanna here has given her best, especially."
He then shared how dedicated Rashmika had been, explaining that she was also shooting for 'Pushpa 2' while working on 'Sikandar.' "She would finish shooting for 'Pushpa 2' by 7 o'clock, then join us at 9 p.m. She would shoot with us until 6 am and then head back to the sets of 'Pushpa 2.' Though she was not well. she shot with us even after breaking her leg. She didn't cancel a single day of the shoot." Salman added in his usual humorous style, "She reminds me a lot of me! I mean younger me; yesterday's wala me!" The audience laughed along with him.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, 'Sikandar' is set to release in cinemas on 30th March 2025, just in time for Eid.
