Salman Khan recently confirmed his upcoming action entertainer ‘SVC63’, co-starring
Nayanthara, with a festive Eid 2027 release in mind. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally, the film has already sparked curiosity, especially as it marks the duo’s first collaboration. While the shoot has quietly begun, the makers are now planning something bigger to officially reveal the film’s title.
Salman Khan's special promo shoot planned for title reveal
According to Mid-Day, reports suggest that the team is preparing a grand video asset solely dedicated to unveiling the film’s title. “As is the case with many South films, titles of big releases are launched in style with visual assets. While the movie’s shoot has begun, the team has decided to film a separate video asset with Salman to unveil the title,” a source shared, hinting at a high-concept promotional approach.
A visual treat built around Salman Khan’s persona
Expectations are already high for the promo, which is likely to be slick, stylised, and designed to highlight Salman Khan’s larger-than-life image. “Salman is one of the biggest action stars in the country. The team wants the video to do justice to his stardom and screen presence. It will also showcase his look in the film,” revealed another insider. However, the exact shoot date for this promo is yet to be finalised.
The strategy seems inspired by recent South film promotions, where title reveals double as cinematic spectacles. Earlier this year, director Nelson Dilipkumar dropped a quirky and visually rich announcement teaser for ‘KHxRK’, reuniting Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. The video stood out for its humour and style, setting a benchmark that ‘SVC63’ now appears ready to match or even surpass.
What about 'Maatrubhumi'?
In the meantime, fans are also waiting for news on Salman's other upcoming film, 'Maatrubhumi'. Originally slated for April 17, 2026, the film was postponed, and the makers have yet to announce a new release date.
