Salman back in action in Srinagar

After getting bail in the 2002 hit-and run case, Salman Khan wasted no time in joining the cast of Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Srinagar.To avoid the media waiting outside Srinagar airport, the actor's security team whisked him out through the cargo gate.

He was driven straight to his hotel, located on the banks of the Dal Lake, and soon after left for Sonmarg where the film's final schedule is currently underway.Said a source close to the project, “Kabir and his unit were prepared for a week's absence after the May 6 hearing. Instead of holding up the shoot, the unit chalked out a plan to can scenes which did not require the actor."
They filmed with the film's supporting cast, including Nawazuddin Siddiqui.“Since the film is scheduled for an Eid release, there is very little time left. They couldn't afford to halt the schedule," added the source. “Salman has about a week's shooting left which will be completed in Sonmarg. There are a few dialogue and an action sequence after which it will be a wrap for Bajrangi Bhaijaan."

To speed things up, the film which is set in the backdrop of in the backdrop of contemporary politics and co-starring Kareena Kapoor, is being edited simultaneously.
