In an interview with Mid-Day, she shared working with Saif Ali Khan left a lasting impression on Saiyami. She recalls the actor as someone who brings warmth and humour to the set. According to her, he keeps the atmosphere light between takes . “Saif sir is about constant laughter between takes, [with his] wicked sense of humour and stories that keep everyone entertained. But the moment the director calls action, there’s a switch in him. He is focused, effortless, and completely in the zone,” she shared. Watching him balance ease with intensity became a learning experience for her.
Akshay Kumar and the meaning of discipline
In the same interview she also spoke about Akshay Kumar stood out as the definition of discipline. Sharing screen space with him taught Saiyami the true value of professionalism. “His punctuality and dedication to work are unmatched. Every day with him was a reminder of what professionalism looks like,” she said. For the actress, those lessons go far beyond the film.

Saiyami also spoke about her deep admiration for Priyadarshan. His command over storytelling made the process smooth and enriching. “Working with Priyadarshan sir was a lesson in clarity. His experience of having directed 99 films brings so much calm and precision to the set.”
