Saina Nehwal recreates Akshaye Khanna's viral dance from 'Dhurandhar' on the 'Flipperachi' song, netizens shower love - WATCH VIDEO

The 'Dhurandhar' fever has officially taken over the nation. From veteran actress Tanuja to badminton sensation Saina Nehwal, everyone seems to be riding this wave. Tanisha Mukherjee had shared a video with her mother Tanuja where she said that she was really impressed by the film and also mentioned that Akshaye Khanna was very impressive. The multi-starrer has sparked a new pop-culture moment, with timelines bursting with appreciation for Akshaye Khanna and Ranveer Singh, both hailed for delivering their sharpest, most high-voltage roles in recent times.

Fueling the buzz further, Saina Nehwal treated fans to a fun Instagram video where she nailed the trending hook step from Akshaye Khanna’s dramatic entry sequence. The song 'Flipperachi', has emerged as a viral favourite, looping endlessly across reels. In the film, this track scores Khanna’s fiery arrival as Rehman Dakait, the Pakistani gangster-turned-political mastermind.




However, the real showstopper turned out to be the cameo tucked at the end, Saina’s father, Harvir Singh Nehwal, jumping in without a hint of restraint. Sharing the moment, Saina mentioned that while she has long admired Akshaye Khanna, her father has been an unapologetic Vinod Khanna loyalist. Her caption was, "When ur #akshaykhanna #fan and papa is #vinodkhanna fan"



The internet reacted instantly. A follower quipped, “Meri bebe se na isna dance aata na manne," while another chimed, “Harveer bhai saheb." And countless comments simply read “Sooooo cute," echoing the collective mood of netizens as they reacted to this adorable video of the father-daughter.

Meanwhile, 'Dhurandhar' has done very well at the box office and it collected Rs 100 crore in the span of three days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#Dhurandhar goes on a rampage on Saturday, the film is now in unstoppable mode… the heartland has also joined the party, witnessing substantial growth. Rs 95 crore [+/-] opening weekend total is very much on the cards."

The film also marks a big-screen comeback for Aditya Dhar, the filmmaker behind 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' 'Dhurandhar' stars R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal apart from Ranveer and Akshaye.
