Saif,Sonakshi became traffic monitors

Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Sheirgill and Tigmanshu Dhulia became the traffic monitors at India Gate on Thursday morning. As a part of the Road Safety Awareness Campaign by the Delhi Traffic Police, the star cast of ‘Bullett Raja’ was asking people not to break the traffic rules and to maintain discipline on road. Saif and Jimmy came riding the bike.
After welcoming the stars when Anil Shukla, additional commissioner of Police (Traffic), took the microphone and said, “We welcome the team of Bullett Raja.Dilli ki sadko pe discipline kayam karein…” Saif interrupted him in between and said, “Sab aap hi bol denge toh hum kya bolenge.”
The actor was excited to share the road safety tips with the Delhiites. He said, “Dilli ki sadke khubsurat hain aur badi hain. Yahan pe bike please zara dhyaan se chalaye. Bike stunt karke aap apne aapko cool samajhte honge lekin zindagi bahut precious hai. Ek minute mein aap motorbike se wheelchair pe aa sakte hain aap which is not cool at all. We have stuntmen in films and therefore, all the stunts are carried safely. Please respect the beautiful roads of Delhi and of course, respect your life and don’t do bike stunts.”
Jimmy Sheirgill emphasized on the use of helmet while riding bikes.
Director Tigmanshu Dhulia, who used to live in Delhi a few years ago, said, “Main jab Dilli mein rehta tha tab ITO pe ek block mein ek saal mein kitne accidents hue uska figure diya rehta tha. As a Dilliwalah I used to feel weird that despite having such good and wide roads we have so many road accidents happening in a year. Please yaar, yeh jo jawani hai badi khubsurat hai, don’t waste it.”
It is a perception that bike stunts are either done for an adventure or to impress girls. Sonakshi urged people not to do bike stunts as life is beautiful than any girl. “Ladki kitni bhi khubsoorat ho, please bike stunt na karein kyunki zindagi use bhi jyada khubsoorat hai,” said the actress adding, “Once I was going to airport from Talkatora road and I asked my papa to allow me to drive the car. My papa didn’t allow me and said, ‘beta Dilli mein agar gaadi chala li toh kahin bhi chala sakti ho.’”
Later they posed for the camera with Saif wearing helmet and Sonakshi sitting behind him on the bike.
