Saif Ali Khan is slowly recovering from a stabbing incident that occurred on January 16, where he sustained multiple injuries and underwent surgery. The actor has finally resumed work to fulfill his professional commitments. On Valentine's Day, he was spotted in the city dressed comfortably and stylishly while visiting a dubbing studio, although he avoided the paparazzi.
In a paparazzi video, Saif was seen exiting a car in a light brown pajama kurta as he walked towards a dubbing studio, choosing not to pose for the paparazzi. Later, he was also spotted stepping out of the studio. He gave a sweet smile to the photographers and also waved at them before leaving in his car.
Recalling on the terrifying night of the attack, Saif shared in an interview with The Times of India that he confronted the intruder alone after discovering him in his younger son Jeh’s room. He noted that his instincts as a father took over during that intense moment, a sentiment that resonated with Sharmila Tagore, who understood his actions as a mother herself. "I guess it’s every parent’s instinct," he stated.
Khan's relationship with his mother has become even closer after the stabbing incident. He shared that she comforted him by holding his hand and singing him a lullaby, something that hadn't happened since he was a child.
After spending five days in the hospital, Saif came out, marked by his injuries but determined. The attack had caused him 30 wounds, including a serious stab injury that led to spinal leakage. Despite the trauma, he showed his strength by making his first public appearance weeks later at an event, where he announced his new thriller, 'The Jewel Thief', with Jaideep Ahlawat.
The teaser for 'Jewel Thief - The Heist Begins' has been released, giving a sneak peek into the film. It features Saif Ali Khan as a skilled thief hired to steal the famous African Red Sun diamond. It shows an exciting journey that starts with a carefully planned heist but quickly turns chaotic, filled with twists and betrayals. Directed by Robbie Grewal, the film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta. It promises to be an action-packed thriller, and the release date hasn't been announced yet.
