Talking to India Today, Khan discussed the historic value of the Pataudi Palace, noting that it has belonged to different people over time. He reflected on his father's legacy as a nawab, describing him as an incredible man who lived life on his own terms. Saif mentioned that times have changed, leading him to rent the house to a hotel, despite his grandmother's warning not to do so. He expressed pride in the palace's rich history.

Saif stated that the estate holds deep sentimental value for him, as his grandparents and father are buried there. While the older sections are called "darbar halls," he feels that term is outdated and prefers "long room," inspired by the hall at Lord’s. He mentioned that the house was built by the seventh Nawab of Pataudi alongside his father and expressed a desire to showcase their cricket memorabilia there. Restoring the house to honor their legacy has been a long-held dream of his, and he shared that it is nearly complete.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan is preparing for his next release, 'Devara: Part 1'. In this film, he will portray the character of Bhairava, starring alongside Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
