Aakash Kanojia, the suspect detained in connection with the stabbing attack on Saif Ali Khan, has been identified and a picture of him has been released. The 32-33-year-old was arrested by the Raipur Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Durg, Chhattisgarh, after Mumbai Police shared a tip about his whereabouts.
The information was received from Assistant Police Inspector Juhu Police Station, Mumbai Police, who alerted RPF authorities that the suspect was traveling by the Jnaneswari Express train. The suspect was apprehended and brought to the Durg RPF post, where Mumbai Police officials confirmed his identity via video call.
RPF IG Munawar Khursheed confirmed to ANI that a Mumbai Police team would arrive in Raipur today to take custody of the suspect for further investigation.
