Sahil Khan gets anticipatory bail in cheating case

A sessions court on Wednesday granted anticipatory bail to actor Sahil Khan in a case of alleged cheating filed by actor Jackie Shroff's wife, Ayesha. The prosecution, however, termed this an absue of the legal process. Khan and Ayesha were earlier business partners. “The court has granted anticipatory bail to Khan after Ayesha submitted a copy of memorandum of understanding,“ said public prosecutor Iqbal Solkar.

Ayesha's lawyer said that Khan and Ayesha had arrived at an understanding and she did not want to pursue the case.Last November, she had filed a case alleging that Khan had cheated her of Rs 5 crore.
