Sagar Ballary's foray into masala movies

A rollicking comedy, produced by HorseshoePictures and Alliance Entertainment, the movie features Tusshar Kapoor, ShreyasTalpade, and Minissha Lamba along with Satish Kaushik, Sanjay Mishra and others.VJ-turned-model, Pia Trivedi will make her debut with this film in an importantrole. The movie is produced by Sunil Chainani, Sameer Chand and Subhash Dawar.What makes this film different from Sagar’s earlier projectsis that it forays into the essence of Bollywood – featuring a lovetriangle, foot tapping music, item numbers, and quirky gangsters.Describing the experience of making a masala film, Sagar says,““Hum Tum Shabana” is a young, colourful, loud, musical andeffervescent film that belongs to the youth. Making a masala movie is equivalentto making any film because every film has to be made well.” The filmwill release on September 23.
