Over the past few decades, cinema, in India, has grown by leaps and bounds and they are not restricted by regions anymore. More and more films are catering to not only the regional audience but also to people across the nation. From ‘Liger’ to ‘Adipurush’ to ‘Radhe Shyam’ and many others, quite a few big-budget pan-India films are in the works and will be released in multiple languages simultaneously. Take a look:a

‘Radhe Shyam’

‘Radhe Shyam’ stars Pooja Hegde and Prabhas in the lead roles, and their sizzling chemistry already has fans excited. The shoot of the film was delayed due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns imposed in countries around the world. The movie also marks pan-India star Prabhas's return to the romantic genre after a gap of a decade. The film is set in 1970s Europe and promises to be one of the biggest upcoming blockbusters.

‘Liger’

‘Liger’, previously titled ‘Fighter’, made headlines upon its announcement because it brings together South star Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood diva Ananya Panday. Their sizzling chemistry between the fresh pair was palpable in the pictures they shared of the duo during the film announcement. The film will be a pan-India release and will have the actors mouthing dialogues in Hindi and Telugu. Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, Vijay and Ananya will be making their Hindi and Telugu cinema debuts respectively with the film.

‘RRR’

SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ is undoubtedly one of the most promising upcoming pan-India films. The magnum opus boasts of an ensemble star cast that includes NT Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan in lead roles. It also features Bollywood stars like Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in key roles. The teaser and posters have already created the much-needed buzz for the film, and it is one of the most awaited films right now.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’

After the super success of ‘KGF’, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’. Apart from starring Kannada superstar Yash in the lead role, the second installment will also star Bollywood actors like Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in key roles. The first part of the movie was released in Hindi and Kannada, both of which went on to become blockbusters.

‘Salaar’

‘Salaar’ is an upcoming pan-India action-thriller written and directed by Prashanth Neel. It stars Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the lead. The film is one of the multiple pan-India films that Prabhas is a part of and the highly anticipated movie is all set to release on April 14, 2022.

‘Adipurush’

After impressing everyone with ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, Om Raut is all set with his next titled, ‘Adipurush’. The movie will be inspired by Ramayana but will explore the story of Lord Ram, Sita, and Ravana from a different perspective. The movie stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, and Sunny Singh as Laxman.
