Actor
Ronit Roy will play an underworld don, Mansoor Ali, in his upcoming film, 'Dongri Ka Raja'. A love story set against the backdrop of the underworld, it has been directed by Hadi Ali Abrar. The actor has powerful dialogue and will sport a distinct look in the movie, which sees him clashing against a rival mafia kingpin.
Apparently, Mansoor's character was written keeping Ronit in mind.
The actor says, 'It's good to know that a role has been written for me, but it's got nothing to do with boosting my ego. When your director is convinced about you, it increases your own conviction twofold. It just eases everything out.' He adds, 'Hadi is very clear about what he wants. In fact, we completed the film so smoothly that I did not even realise when the shoot got over.' Besides Ronit, the film also stars Gashmeer Mahajani, Reecha Sinha, Sachin Suvarna, Ashwini Kalsekar and
Ashmit Patel in pivotal roles.
