Set against the backdrop of PM Indira Gandhi's assassination and anti Sikh riots, the film 'San 84' shooting is going on with gusto. Currently, they are shooting the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations along with a sweet romantic story that is woven in the film. The love story is around Ajit and Bhumija played by debutants Ashish Sahdev and Neha Saini. It all starts with Vipin Sharma scolding his son for not getting kerosene to light the fire used for cooking and protecting from cold in Delhi.

Vipin said, "I had this hot ginger water formula that protected from cold and so the entire crew followed that while we were shooting in the colder temperatures."
The cast also involves Manoj Bakshi of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and Sapna Marwah who recently played Kangana Ranaut's mother-in-law in 'Manikarnika' and Kaira Advani’s mother in 'Kabir Singh'.
The film promises to be a great promise of good content and interesting intense performances with the backdrop of a tight realistic script from writer and Director Sandeep Rana and Mujeeb Ul Hassan.
