Rohit Shetty questions the paparazzi

The ‘Singham’ director, who will be hosting ‘Bigg Boss 19’s upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar episode in Salman Khan’s absence, recently had a brief interaction with the paparazzi. Salman is currently in Dubai for the Da-Bangg Tour Reloaded.




During the shoot, Shetty questioned the paps about the gathering outside Dharmendra’s home. He asked, “Tum log Dharam ji ke waha se nikale ki nahi.” (Have you all stopped gathering outside Dharmendra ji’s place or not?)

When the paps confirmed that they had left, Rohit got ready to answer their questions, signalling his concern for the family’s privacy.

Sunny Deol confronts paparazzi outside his home

A few days before Shetty’s interaction, Sunny Deol had confronted the paparazzi waiting outside his home. Frustrated with the constant filming, Sunny said, “Aap logon ko sharam aayni chaiyeh… Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, bacche hain.. video liye jaa rahe ho.. Sharam nahi aati (You guys should be ashamed of yourself. You guys also have parents, have kids… Still are making videos like idiots… You should be ashamed of yourself),” With folded hands, he urged the media to respect the family’s privacy during a stressful time.

Karan Johar calls for respect and sensitivity

Bollywood director Karan Johar also expressed his concern. On Thursday, he shared a heartfelt note on his Instagram Stories, highlighting the emotional stress the Deol family was going through. “When basic courtesy and sensitivity leaves our hearts and our actions we know we are a doomed race,” he wrote.

He further added, “PLEASE leave a family alone!!!! They are already emotionally combatting so much.... It's heartbreaking to see a paparazzi and media circus for a living legend who has contributed so massively to our cinema... this is not coverage it's DISRESPECT.”

Dharmendra continues recovery at home
