Director Rohan Sippy is foraying into the action genre with 'Junglee' and says working on the film is going to be tough. The filmmaker, who last directed 'Nautanki Saala' three years ago, thinks one of the reasons to venture into action was that the audience still enjoys the particular genre on the big screen.

"It's an exciting genre. Action is one of those genres that you still enjoy watching it on the big screen. That is one of the reasons I thought to make the film. "It's going to be one of the hardest films I've ever attempted. It's quite a challenge," Sippy told on the sidelines of the 10th edition of NFDC Film Bazaar.

The director says the film, which stars

Vidyut

Jammwal in a lead role, is still in production and a lot of work is yet to be done. "It's still in scripting right now because there will be some complicated post as well extensive pre-production so, there is still a lot of hard work is left that we've to do to get it there."

Praising his film's protagonist, Sippy says, "Vidyut has got a phenomenal talent. He hasn't done too many movies so far but he's extremely dedicated and he has got a genuine talent. So, I hope we can use that and make him really connect emotionally and also from the physicality side to the character he's playing."

When asked about not choosing a big star, Sippy says, "It's decided from the script that who you cast and which actor you want. Force fit a big actor into a certain script is also not the right way to go." The director likes giving opportunities to young talent as he feels they are sometimes much more curious and enthusiastic than A-listers. "Last time I worked with young actors like Kunal Roy Kapoor and Ayushmann (Khurrana). It is so much fun to work with them. You don't get that while working with senior or busier stars."
