Robin Bhatt gets invited by the Nepal Film and Cultural Academy

The important aspect of filmmaking is the initial process of writing. To share more information on the same, screenwriter Robin Bhatt is invited by NFCA (

Nepal Film and Cultural Academy

) to share his knowledge with others. He will be joining them to be part of the first NFCA screen writing workshop. Robin was recently honored with lifetime achievement award at the Jaipur International Film Festival.

The screen writing workshop will be held from August 21 to 27 this year. It will be a 7-day closed camp event in Chitlang village in the vicinity of

Kathmandu

and will involve around 60 to 70 participants from the film and media sectors in Nepal. The main aim of the event is to create a forum where film makers and artists from multiple disciplines, including writing, come together and learn about the fine points of film writing.

For the inauguration, government officers have been invited, including the CM for welcoming and thanksgiving to the mentors visiting the camp. Robin Bhatt is a veteran

screenwriter

with more than 66 films. He debuted with film

Aashiqui

as script writer and his other credits include films like Gadar, Baazigar, Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish 2, Krrish3 and Shivaay.
