RJ Anmol reveals his mother wanted a daughter-in-law like Amrita Rao’s character from ‘Vivah’

Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao's Vivah clocked 15 years of its release on November 10. And RJ Anmol, who is married to Amrita, revealed an interesting incident connected to the movie. He penned on Instagram, “This Day-2006, I saw Vivah with my Family, in a Theatre (Delhi).” Post watching the movie, his mother told him that she wanted a daughter-in-law like Poonam. He further added, “I’m sure, Mothers Across the Country told This to their Sons, but like they say Maa Saraswati meri maa k zubaan par baithi thi (Maa Sarawati was residing on my mother's tongue).”

Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol tied the knot in 2016 and turned parents to Veer last year.Celebrating their son’s first birthday, Amrita had penned, “Veer turns one and so do we as parents. Happy Birthday to Us. We seek your love and blessings.”

Speaking about resuming shoot, Amrita had told BT in an interview, “I already returned with Thackeray in 2019, and now, there will be no more breaks. Currently, I’m looking at a movie script along with one for the OTT space. Also, I’m super excited about associating with some brands that have approached both me and Anmol together.”
