Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to congratulate
Anupam Kher and
Akshaye Khanna for the trailer of the upcoming political film 'The Accidental Prime Minister'. The veteran actor praised Anupam Kher for his exceptional job of portraying former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the film. The trailer of the film dropped yesterday and became a hot topic of discussion within no time.
However, people have noted the remarkable performance by Kher who imitates the former PM to near perfection.
Rishi Kapoor seems extremely impressed after watching the trailer and showered praises for his friend. The veteran actor also praised Akshaye Khanna for his role as political commentator Sanjaya Baru. Rishi Kapoor tweeted, "What a wonderful trailer of a film promising to be political yet interesting. @AnupamPKher your passion for your craft is what I hope you teach at your film school. Directed by Vijay Gutte, 'The Accidental Prime Minister' is an upcoming biographical political film which chronicles the inside functioning of a political party based on the book of the same name written by political commentator Sanjaya Baru. The film stars Anupam Kher, Akshaye Khanna, Aahana Kumra, Arjun Mathur, and
Suzanne Bernert. The film is slated to release on 11 January 2019.
