Rishi gets nostalgic

Rishi Kapoor’s character in the film Patiala House has been modeled around his grandfather, Prithvi Raj Kapoor.
The film is about a huge household living together in London as the Kahlon Family with four genertaions. Rishi Kapoor (Bauji) heads this family and makes all the decisions for the Kahlon members. Similarly, Rishi has been born and bought up in a joint family.
His grandfather, Prithvi Raj Kapoor was the head of the family and everyone lived together in the same house. It was easy for him to relate to his character as he has grown up in a similar surrounding.
