Legendary choreographer of Bollywood Saroj Khan passed away due to cardiac arrest. A few days back, she was hospitalised after she complained of trouble in breathing. As per reports, she passed away following a massive heart attack on Friday. Khan, who was fondly called as "Masterji" in the industry, has worked in over 2000 songs. She has worked with the top actresses in Bollywood including Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan among others. 'Tabah Ho Gaye' from 'Kalank'

Saroj Khan's last on-screen Bollywood was for Abhishek Varman's 2019 film 'Kalank'. She teamed up with her 'favourite student' Madhuri Dixit for 'Tabah Hogaye'. The dance maestro and Madhuri won millions of hearts with their perfect expressions and graceful Kathak moves. The film starred Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles. Saroj and Remo D'Souza work together for choreography of this song.

'Dola Re Dola' from 'Devdas'

Saroj Khan choreographed 'Dola Re Dola' from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Devdas'. The song featured Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Khan's amazing choreography by Saroj and Madhuri and Aishwarya's expressions made it one of the popular Bollywood dance number of all time. It is an iconic song, which is loved by the fans of the divas even today.

'Hawa Hawai' from Mr India

Sridevi's 'Hawa Hawai' song from 'Mr. India' is one of the iconic dance performances. It was Saroj Khan's choreography, Sridevi's expressions, Laxmikant-Pyarelal’s music that made it one of the popular songs that we can never forget even today. The diva played the role of a journalist. In this song, she disguised herself as an exotic Hawaiian dancer. The film also starred Anil Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Ashok Kumar and Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.

'Ek Do Teen' from 'Tezaab'

We all know how close Madhuri Dixit was to her dance guru Saroj Khan. She choreographed her in a number of memorable songs. 'Ek Do Teen' is one of the characters that can make anyone grove right away. Saroj’s graceful dance moves, Madhuri’s million-dollar smile and expressions are still remembered by all. The hook step to 'Aaja piya aayi bahar' became an instant favourite of all the young girls in the '80s.

'Yeh Ishq Haye' from Jab We Met

Saroj Khan choreographed Yeh Ishq Haye’ for Kareena Kapoor Khan for her 2007 hit film ‘Jab We Met’. The actress mourned the demise of her 'Masterji' by sharing some throwback moments from the sets. She wrote, ''Master ji always told me... perrr nahin chala saktiii toh Kam se kam face toh chalaaaaa.That’s what she taught me... to enjoy dancing, smile and smile through the eyes.'' The song was shot in Manali. She won the National Film Award for Best Choreography for 'Jab We Met'.

'Nimbooda Nimbooda' from 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'

Saroj Khan had worked with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her hit film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. 'Nimboda Nimboda' from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, was one of the popular 90s songs of Aishwarya. Fans loved her dance moves. It is a traditional folk tune from Rajasthan. Saroj Khan even won Filmfare Award for Best Choreography in 2000 for 'Nimbooda Nimbooda'.

Saroj Khan came to limelight after EK DO TEEN. Her creation had a touch of tradtional dance which are missing from other choregraphers. She has created so many memorable dance that will always be remembered. RIP.
