Yes, you heard that right. A source revealed, “This would be a massive project with a unique and different take on Mahabharata and the character of Draupadi. The world that it will be set in will be modern and contemporary, something that hasn’t been done before. The role of Draupadi has been offered to Rhea Chakraborty and she is considering it currently. The discussion is very initial though.”

Rhea will be seen next in director Rumi Jaffery's upcoming film 'Chehre' that will have Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in pivotal roles. The makers have postponed the release date due to rising Covid-19 cases. Emraan had shared a statement informing about the delay in the release of the film.
The statement read, "Due to the rising cases of COVID-19 and new guidelines for cinemas, we are unable to release our movie Chehre on 9th April and have decided to postpone until further notice. We have received an overwhelming response on our trailer and we are grateful for the love and support. We have decided to bring Chehre to audiences theatrically when the environment is more conducive for the experience. See you in cinemas very soon, until then stay safe and healthy! Cover your Chehre with a mask and don't forget to use sanitiser. Team Chehre."
