On Friday afternoon,
Remo Dsouza was admitted to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital after suffering a heart attack. Dancer-actor Dharmesh Yelande and actor-friend Aamir Ali had gone to the hospital to check on the 46-year-old choreographerdirector. Aamir informed Media source that Remo is stable now. "He is still in the ICU, but he is awake and seems to be recovering well," he shared.
Remo had kicked off the year with the Varun Dhawan,
Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi-starrer musical, 'Street Dancer 3D', and wrapped up the fifth season of his dance reality show in February.
He also was a guest judge on India's Best Dancer with fellow choreographer-friends Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis, when the show returned after the coronavirus-induced four-month hiatus. He has choreographed several chartbusters like 'Badtameez Dil' from 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and 'Deewani Mastani' from 'Bajirao Mastani'. He has reportedly undergone an angioplasty following a blockage and is currently under observation.
When contacted, his wife, Lizelle Dsouza, replied, "He's fine, better".
