The grown-up now daughter of Ajay and Kajol from 'Dil Kya Kare'

Akshita played the role of a girl named Neha Kishore in the film. Akshita Garud played the character of Ajay and Kajol's biological, and Mahima's adopted daughter in the 1999 film 'Dil Kya Kare'. She also appeared in Mithun's film Marshal in 2002. After films, Akshita took to the television screen playing the character Roshni Mehra in the popular show Kumkum: Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan (2003). She worked on screen for a little bit and wowed viewers with her acting ability, but eventually vanished from the entertainment industry.

Where is Akshita Garud now?

As stated by India TV, reports revealed that Akshita quit the show business and transitioned into the corporate sector, specifically in the field of marketing and lived abroad. She worked as an accessories associate branch manager at Reebok and Adidas. Based on her Instagram bio, she now identifies herself as a visual and art director and is apparently a force in the world of fashion. Akshita is considered a fashionista and her photos suggest how fashionable and luxurious her current life is.

About the movie

'Dil Kya Kare' is based on Neha, a cute young girl who has been adopted by Anand and Kavita and is their deeply cherished daughter. Neha's mother Kavita decided to get a cute young lady to look after Neha. As it turns out, the woman is actually Neha's biological mother and everything she knew about her family gets upended. The film received praise from critics for some bold and pivotal takes. The film had a popular reception but the film did not do well commercially.
