Back in 2019, at the Marathi Taraka event, Rekha openly praised Kangana in front of the audience. While receiving a special award from the 'Thalaivii' actress, Rekha said, “If I had a daughter she would have been like Kangana.”

The 'Manikarnika’ actress had even worn a beautiful black and gold sari gifted to her by the 'Umrao Jaan' actress to the same event. Rekha’s words showed just how much she adores Kangana.

On the work front, Kangana is busy with her political career, talking about films she was last seen in ‘Emergency’, a film she also directed. Ranaut played the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the political drama. She is also set to make her Hollywood debut with the horror drama ‘Blessed Be the Evil’. The film will also star Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone.
