She was among the first few celebs to resume shooting last year once lockdown restrictions were relaxed.
Raveena Tandon spent a couple of months shooting an online project in
Himachal
and shared several pictures of the
picturesque
locales on her Instagram handle. The
actress
even rescued some stray animals there and helped find loving homes for them.
Raveena has spoken about being kind to stray animals and adopting rather than buying pets. Some time ago, she shared a post on social media in which she said that her house had become like Dr Dolittle’s place. Dr Dolittle is a popular fictional character, who could talk to animals.
Raveena
wrote, “Rescuing these animal babies is a regular thing at
Neelaya
, my house, which has become like “Dr Dolittle’s” home, three owls, one monkey, a baby bat, numerous pigeons, a few parakeet, and kittens actually turn up right at our address to be rescued, the owls flew in, the monkey turned up on our tree, with his collar and leash dangling obviously someone had illegally kept him captive and he broke away, escaped and turned up on our doorstep, and the baby bat fell flat out of a nest on our terrace. All successfully rehabilitated. The owls were flown out at night, monkey at forested rescue shelter, and the baby bat, the rest got all good adoptive homes (sic).”
