Raveena shared that she turned down Ram Madhvani's family crime drama 'Aarya.' She explained that although these were exciting scripts, she wanted to explore roles that showcased her in a different light for the audience. This led her to choose 'Aranyak' as her digital debut, a decision that proved successful with awards and positive outcomes.

Raveena described her character in 'Karmma Calling,' highlighting the contrast between Indrani Kothari and her real-life persona. She emphasized the need to separate her personal thoughts and sympathy while portraying the character, striving to immerse herself in a different identity. The 49-year-old actor, known for her roles in films such as 'Andaz Apna Apna,' 'Mohra,''Maatr,' 'Satta,' and 'Daman,' expressed her ongoing commitment to taking on diverse characters in her career.

The show, inspired by the well-received 2011 American series Revenge, unfolds in a world of opulence and allure, characterized by deceit and betrayal. Raveena Tandon plays the role of Indrani Kothari, a glamorous figure from the 90s married to a billionaire. The plot takes a turn when a mysterious woman named Karma, portrayed by Namrata Sheth, enters the narrative, altering Indrani's life in unexpected ways.
