Raveena Tandon performs the last rituals at her father Ravi Tandon's funeral

Actress Raveena Tandon's father and noted film director-producer Ravi Tandon passed away on Friday at his residence at the age of 87. The veteran director passed away due to respiratory failure.
Raveena and her family were seen performing last rites in the city. The actress was seen carrying the bier of her father and completing the rituals as instructed by the priest at the crematorium.Have a look:


Raveena shared a heartfelt tribute to her father on Instagram. "You will always walk with me , I will always be you, I'm never letting go. Love you papa," she wrote alongside a series of pictures with her father.
Earlier today, Farah Khan, Nidhi Dutta and Sajid Khan were seen arriving at the funeral to pay their last respects. Even Raveena's mother Veena Tandon was seen devastated while leaving from the crematorium.
Ravi Tandon is credited to have directed suspense-drama 'Anhonee' with Sanjeev Kumar; Rajesh Khanna, Sridevi and Smita Patil's 'Nazrana'; 'Jhoota Kahin Ka' with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor; Amitabh Bachchan-starrer crime thriller 'Majboor', multi-starrer films 'Khuddaar' and 'Zindagi', among others.
