Ranveer Singh has been staying away from the spotlight in recent weeks despite the success of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. His absence had sparked speculation, but sources say the actor has chosen to spend time with his family.
Spending time with family
According to The Indian Express, Ranveer is currently focusing on his daughter Dua while his wife Deepika Padukone is shooting for King with Shah Rukh Khan in Cape Town.
The report quoted a vendor working on the production saying, “It’s nice to see how supportive Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are of each other. While Deepika has been busy shooting for King in South Africa, Ranveer—even after the success of Dhurandhar and working on Pralay—is spending time with his daughter Dua. While she is filming, he is taking care of her.”
It further said, “He is being present and hands-on. Dua has been his lucky charm, with Deepika, Dua, and Dhurandhar changing his life. After delivering Dhurandhar, Ranveer has chosen to stay away from the spotlight.”
Those close to the couple said that since Dua’s arrival, there has been a shift in Ranveer’s priorities. During the shoot of Dhurandhar, he would reportedly travel back briefly to spend time with his family before returning to set.
Personal update and work front
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone recently shared that they are expecting their second child through a post on Instagram.
Deepika has also been part of discussions around work-life balance in the industry. Reports suggested that she advocated for an eight-hour work shift after motherhood and stepped away from projects like Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit starring Prabhas and a sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin.
Ranveer was earlier expected to begin work on Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, but after exiting the project, he is now focusing on his upcoming film Pralay, which is in pre-production.\Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the
