The sequel picks up right after that gripping cliffhanger.

Demand for regional languages in South India for 'Dhurandhar'
The choice for a five-language release stems from overwhelming South Indian demand, despite the original's Hindi-exclusive run. ‘Dhurandhar’ set off massive South India hype through buzz and online sharing, as distributors highlighted relentless requests for dubbed editions. Fan campaigns for local dubs inspired Jio Studios to deliver ‘Dhurandhar 2’ in native languages from its opening day across regions.
