Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their first child, a daughter named Dua, in September.

The couple recently made their first public appearance with the little one at Mumbai airport, and were all smiles as they took off on their first trip as a family. On his return home, the actor, who was on a paternity break, headed back to work and during his recent appearance at an event, expressed deep joy about being a dad.

Describing this feeling as "infinite happiness", Ranveer shared that fatherhood has been an immersive experience. Adding a touch of humour to his speech, he remarked, “I’ve been on daddy duty for a long time now. So, I am ready to let loose with you all".

Singh also expressed his appreciation for his wife, Deepika Padukone, describing the magic of companionship. He said, “It’s like magic," emphasising how important it is to share life's ups and downs with a partner.

Deepika and Ranveer announced they were expecting their first child on February 29, 2024. Their daughter, Dua, was born on September 8, 2024. The couple celebrated her arrival with a touching Instagram post, which received lots of love and congratulations from fans, friends, and family.

On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer recently starred together in Rohit Shetty’s action film 'Singham Again', which audiences received well. In addition to this, Ranveer is getting ready for his next big project, 'Don 3', directed by Farhan Akhtar.
