Ranveer Singh pens a special note for birthday boy Varun Sharma

With Bollywood back in business, film shoots have resumed with a vengeance. Well, almost. After months of lockdown resulted in shoots coming to a standstill and cinema houses downing shutters, the past several weeks have witnessed a revival of sorts. With the central government allowing films to run at full capacity, and with more and more stars stepping out to shoot, Bollywood is hoping for a better year than the one gone by.Strict safety measures have been put in place on sets to ensure COVID-19 stays at bay. Recently, the team of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ celebrated Varun Sharma’s birthday on the sets. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernnandez and Pooja Hegde. And Varun Sharma’s close friend, Varun Dhawan also stopped by to wish him on his birthday.

The ‘Cirkus’ team has been shooting important sequences in the past couple of days. Meanwhile, Ranveer is also awaiting the release of ‘83’, which has been delayed by almost a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film’s makers are keen to release it in theatres soon.
