Ranveer Singh is like elder brother to Ashrut

Ashrut Jain, who played Ranveer Singh’s close friend Bater in the recent box office grosser Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, has been a theatre actor and has always wanted to be an actor from his school days.
He says, “Shanoo Sharma laid the foundation of my career. She taught me the tricks of the camera, which also made me sharper as an actor. Then I met Shruti Mahajan through Shanoo, who was casting for Ramleela.”
On being asked how it was to work with an actor like Ranveer Singh, he says, “Ranveer singh is like my elder brother and guides me.He comes on the sets with a lot of positivity, energy and homework. He is amazingly positive and next big thing of Bollywood. The best shot was when he is crowned as the king and he is on my shoulders.”
