Ranveer said, "I was talking to the other models backstage that we have walked in many fashion shows, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Walking on the banks of the Ganga felt a million times better than walking at Mumbai's 5-star banquet."
"This event showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of our weaver community. We deeply appreciate everything Shri Narendra Modi has done to protect and promote the weaver community. The vibrations and energy of this day are unforgettable. PM Narendra Modi has absolutely changed Kashi in these 10 years, he added."
As seen, Kriti looked stunning in a red Banarasi silk lehenga for the fashion show. She complemented her attire with a golden dupatta and a maang-tikka. Meanwhile, Ranveer sported a regal look in a golden silk kurta paired with a black dhoti and a matching shawl.

A video of the actors walking the ramp was shared online. In the clip, Ranveer and Kriti could be seen waving at the audience while walking against a backdrop of fireworks. The atmosphere was filled with the vibrant sounds of dhols and temple bells, adding to the spectacle of the event.
Kriti expressed her joy at wearing a handwoven Banarasi lehenga and also spoke in favor of promoting the heritage of Kashi. She said, "The best part about the Banarasi saree is that the weavers weave only one saree of a kind. It takes days to weave one piece. This thing should be taken out into the world. I am glad that I could be part of this initiative. Kashi is a very good example of Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi."
Manish Malhotra also shared a picture of himself posing alongside Ranveer and Kriti from the show and expressed his happiness as he wrote, "With my special muses tonight in #kashi #varanasi" and added red heart emojis.
Before the event, Ranveer and Kriti visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer their prayers.
