‘Heropanti’ actor,
Ranjha Vikram Singh, who tied the knot with Simran Kaur, a Ludhiana-based stylist, in Chandigarh on December 9, went with his bride to the
Vaishno Devi shrine a few days ago.

Talking to us after the darshan, Ranjha shared, “I went to Vaishno Devi with Simran for Mata Vaishno Devi’s darshan. It’s a family ritual to go there after every auspicious event to seek Mata’s blessings.
In my case, I got married, so, I went there with Simran soon after the post-wedding rituals got over. It was such a peaceful experience. The temperature on top was around one degree. We got 25 minutes to sit inside the temple and pray. It wasn’t as crowded as it usually is because of the pandemic. I hope normalcy returns soon and pilgrims can go on this beautiful pilgrimage.”
The actor, who has featured in several South films, plans to go to Seychelles for his honeymoon. He told us, “Simran and I will be going to Seychelles on January 31. We chose the date and destination keeping the pandemic in mind. We didn’t want to go at the beginning of January, as it would have been crowded around that time.”

Earlier, while talking to us about how he met Simran, the actor had told us, “I was introduced to Simran by her cousin during the COVID-19 outbreak in March, immediately after the nationwide lockdown was implemented. We connected through regular and video calls while I was in Mumbai and she was in Ludhiana. As soon as domestic flights resumed operations in India, I went to Ludhiana to meet her and we connected beautifully. We didn't want to get into anything frivolous but met with the prospect of getting married. I truly believe that marriages are made in heaven, as I hadn't expected that I would meet my life partner during the lockdown. Simran and I bonded over common likes and interests, besides being hard-core Punjabis.”
