Rang Rasiya, which is based on the book Raja Ravi Varma by Ranjit Desai, has Randeep Hooda playing the celebrated painter. And the actor sure impressed director Ketan Mehta with hsis dedication. Throughout the 75-day schedule, Randeep would religiously shoot for 12 hours every day. After pack-up too, he would steal an hour to work out and would then join Ketan to discuss the next day’s scenes.
That’s not all. He even had a nasty fall while shooting a scene and had to get five stitches on his upper lip. But Randeep, who calls himself ‘a greedy actor’, was unwilling to stall the shoot and filmed the sequence by simply covering the stitches with his moustache.
