Randeep Hooda to begin shooting for film in Lucknow soon

Talking to us from Delhi, producer Rahul Mittra says, "Mard was to go on the floors this may for which my pre-production had begun in March first week but then had to be stopped days before the lockdown."
"Now that things are opening up and one hears about shoots beginning soon in Mumbai and other places, I’ve started engaging with the UP government for help & clarity on shoot in UP," says Mittra.

"Recently I was invited for a webinar where I discussed this with the senior officials present, including Jitendra Kumar Principal Secretary Tourism, Raju Srivastava Chairman UP Film development council, amongst others. Though I was assured of all help , I’m still awaiting the Government’s exact take on shootings in the state. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting in Lucknow extensively for 'Bullett Raja' and look forward shooting for Mard soon."
Mard, a new age love story with Randeep Hooda as the main protagonist is written & directed by Sai Kabir Srivastava, who collaborated with Mittra in Kangana Ranaut starrer critically acclaimed film Revolver Rani and produced by Raju Chadha and Rahul Mittra.
