Randeep Hooda and Imtiaz Ali reunite after five years

Randeep Hooda and Imtiaz Ali are working with each other after a gap of five years. The two last collaborated on 'Highway', which had hit the screens in 2014. They recently shot for the filmmaker’s next movie that stars Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan. Randeep shared a photo with Imtiaz to announce the end of his schedule. Praising Imtiaz in the post, he wrote, “And it’s a wrap for me for @imtiazaliofficial next ..a wonderful reunion after 5 years of the iconic #highway .. an honest experience as always.. the joy of work, pushing boundaries.. a rediscovery as an artist, as a person .. gratitude and wishing the whole team a great future ahead (sic).” The actor also thanked his team for helping him get his look right.
Imtiaz, too, shared a photo with Randeep with a caption that read, “a man has not lost his dream; refreshing to re-unite (sic).” The filmmaker has already shot major chunks of his film, which is slated to release during the Valentine’s Day weekend in 2020, and will see Kartik opposite Sara for the first time. Apparently, the movie is a sequel to the director’s 2009-film Love Aaj Kal, which starred Deepika Padukone and Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan.
