Ranbir Kapoor's niece, Samara Sahni recently experienced a memorable fan-girl moment. Meeting the Punjabi singer, rapper AP Dhillon sent waves of excitement for her, which was evident in her beaming grin when she met the musical sensation. She added a personal touch wearing cool sunglasses with initials on them, 'AP' marking the artist she idolized. The picture, shared by Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Samara’s mother, on Instagram, showed the two posing happily together, further highlighting Samara’s fangirl excitement. Riddhima captioned it with the hashtag #fangirl, reflecting the pure delight of the moment.
Samara sported a chic, youthful vibe as she posed in the photo in a nude jacket with blue denim jeans. AP Dhillon kept his look effortlessly fashionable, sporting a black half-puffer jacket layered over a sweatshirt, and black-washed jeans that kept him cool and laid-back. Their joyous interaction made the moment special for Samara and her followers.
While Samara's fan-girl moment was heartwarming, Riddhima has expressed concerns about her daughter's active presence on social media. Recently, Riddhima opened up to UK-based radio jockey Anushka Arora in an interview about her worries over Samara's frequent online posts. She said that her daughter has confided in her that she is anxious about the trolling and the negative comments Samara might receive, and she has told her daughter to either make her Instagram account private or to stay away from social media altogether. Riddhima said that Samara, like most 13-year-olds, reads all these comments, which can really affect her mindset. But Samara did not want a private account and was adamant about increasing her followers, she felt that her social media ambitions would suffer otherwise.
Riddhima married Bharat Sahni with whom she studied in London. They tied the knot in 2006.
AP Dhillon is known for blending Punjabi beats with contemporary sounds, becoming a global musical phenomenon. He has made millions of fans through his chart-topping tracks, "Brown Munde," "Excuses," "Insane," and "Toxic." With a voice and the charismatic stage presence, AP Dhillon has undoubtedly become one of the music giants. His recent energetic show in Mumbai left his fans engrossed, thereby stating reasons why he is counted as the leading artist in Punjabi music today.
